I am so happy that we, 11 friends, have chosen this accommodation for our girls trip to Krakow. We arrived at the station in the early morning and Yanik was so nice to pick us up. Thank you for that.
Furthermore upon arrival a full breakfast was served by Mrs. Platek although it was not ordered by us in advance. But what a great idea!
The rooms were clean and conveniently arranged in very pleasant colours. The breakfast was just delicious and correspond to the photographs shown on the homepage.
The 15 minutes walk to and back from the old town has never been a problem for us.
I strongly recommend the Piano Guest House to my friends and to all people who hesitate booking a room there. Go for it!

The Piano is a wonderful place to stay and really not that far from the town or station. It’s hard not to mention that Krakow is really cold in early March!
I would like to say a big thank you to Janek for his hospitality and help with taxis, bus times and restaraunts.
He told me of the very interesting history of the house and how it came to be a guest house.
I hope that you will get to finish this fine project one day and reap the rewards of your hard work. You must stop arguing over the design of the sign!!!

Had an absolutely fantastic stay at the piano guesthouse. Tadeusz made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, even picking us up at the station. The room was great, had a lot of character, as did the whole guesthouse! The breakfast was great, loads of choice, great coffee too! Tadeusz provided us with great knowledge about the city and our sightseeing was made much easier by his enthusiastic recommendations! Would recommend to anyone, and would definately visit again. A hidden gem!

A wonderful family host you in pleasant hotel nearby the mainstation.
Tadeusz is full of right suggestions for a new in town if you want to discover real krakow.
actractive and rich breakfast even at 3 pm(the first day of the year)let you stay light avoiding lunch!

Perfect – cleanliness, hospitality, presentation, helpfulness all of a standard equalling in rank hotels where you would pay a whole lot more and probably lose out in the personal touches that are so evident and well thought-through at the Piano. You’ll not find it in many of the guidebooks, but that ‘under-selling, under-promising of the guest house only adds to the wonderful pleasure you enjoy there when you see how good it is. The Piano Guest House is slightly off the beaten track but only 10 minutes walk to the fantastic Galeria Krakow shopping centre and railway/bus stations and old town. It’s location was not a problem. The Platek family that run the guesthouse are very artistic and creative personalities in their careers and this is reflected in the delights there. The rooms are spacious, clean and warm and well decorated and maintained throughout. No TV, but that isn’t a problem, as we left after breakfast for the city and returned after a great evening in the town later. The breakfasts were continental, scrambled egg was offered, but honestly, you don’t want it when a fantastic selection of warm fresh bread, cheese and cold meats plus plus are offered and again, presented with fresh flowers (also in the rooms) to a very high standard. Need I say more? For E45 for a double room per night, it is fantastic value for money and exceeds expectations in almost every area and I say again, is so convenient for a walk into town. Thank you Piano.

I have just returned from a lovley weekend in Krakow. We stayed a the quirky Piano guest house which is about 15 minutes from the centre. The room we had was lovely, very warm and welcoming. The hosts offer a hearty breakfast of polish fresh breads, various pates and cheeses with good tea or coffee
A very good choice which offers a good price.
I would recommended to others.

„We have recently returned from a four night stay and were very impressed. Aleksandra is most welcoming and attentive. On arrival, we were greeted with a pot of tea, jam and cake. Our room was traditionally furnished and very comfortable. Breakfasts were superb, with a wide variety of well-presented food. Just what we needed to set us up for a day of exploration. The bus station and station are 5 minute walk away (convenient for getting to and from the airport) as is the Galleria Krakow – a modern shopping complex with a variety of shops, cafes and a supermarket. The central square is a further 5-10 minutes walk. I heartily recommend The Piano Guest House and, if I return to Krakow, would definitely stay again.”

„I have stayed at the Piano House a few times. I have always found the accomodations to be excellent and the attitude of Tadeusz and his mom to be outstanding. I have always been greeted with tea, a snack and a smile. The Piano House is close enough to everything that is important in Krakow. The taxis are not terribly expensive and the Piano House is easy to find. On a scale of 5 the Piano House is definitely a 5, and it beats using a hotel which I have also done several times.”

„We have stayed at the Piano guest house three times, and we keep coming back.. We have been there with our girl twice (first 7 months, then 2 years), and last time just the two of us together with another couple. In August I will be back again, this time with four friends – all girls. Piano guest house is a place where you want to come back! Alexandra is super, and so is Tadeusz! We love The Piano Guest House!”
